wheel offset HELP!!!!

I have a set of "Wolfrace VooDoo" 15"X6.5" with a ET42 offset I think. The problem is that they just don't feel "RIGHT" its hard to explain really, kind of vague and wondery and they always have a wobble at

60-75mph I've had the wheels getting on for 3 years now from new and had different tyres on and had them re-balanced a few times too. I am pretty sure its not the car or the fact that its lowered because I had them on my last Sierra too before I even lowered it and they were the same. If I put the old Ford wheels back on its prefect so it MUST be the wheels (remember I've had these wheels on 2 cars and had them re-balanced and re-tyred at different places and the result was always the same) What I think is that the ET42 offset is too much for the Sierra, I read

Sierra's need an offset of ET35-38. Would it be possible to fita 5mm spacer to change the offset to ET37? Marty (Please sign my guestbook)

Yes.

But spacers are bad. And 5mm will make zero difference to anything.

What size are the original Ford wheels and tyres ?
