You've covered most of the "fun" Volvos, except maybe the new S60/V70 R's.

Ron, my manky old Saab 900 still handles. still surprises many Beemers (not including the M series), and has a CD player, and came fitted with a 4 speaker system (basic and standard now I know, but this was twenty years ago) Mine doesn't have it, but there was an option for aircon in my model year, the factory CD player was option 2 years later, it has electric windows, electric metal sunroof, and mirrors, nice dinky little wiper for the headlights top keep them clean when you use the washers.

I watched a repeat of an old 5th Gear over the weekend, and they said that when new an Aston Martin Lagonda was £50k, the equivalent of £250k today.

My £300 Saab would have been arround £16-20k(with all the options) when new today that would make it a £100-130k car. Some older cars do actually have a worth, and are still practical to drive.

And when I get the next gen PC built in, it will have all the standard toys, DVD, SatNav, Touch screen control, MP3/VCD/DivX playback, and Playstation Emulation, of a new car.

Except that it wouldn't :) It would be priced as the current SAAB's are now - in the £20,000 range.
