Im looking at getting a MAC catback...Should i get the 3 exhaust as opposed to the 2.5 inch tips? is there a difference in sound?

What engine do you have? And Macs have a tendincy not fit right. I know 2 people with mac cat backs that rattle.

I say keep it functional. 3" is a waste for your application.

It depends on if he's just talking about the tips, or the whole system. If it's just the tips, then it will be louder without any performance gain. The larger tip would act kinda like a megaphone.
