If the '09 looks like this, yes, it will be neat! The tapered-down look looks great and should give us better aero numbers = more top end pull. And the rumored 350+ horsepower will really be quite incredible for an entry-level GT. (Doesn't seem that long ago when anything north of 250 was big news.) Now this makes me wonder how high the Shelby model will go.
V6 = 250+ Base V8 = 350+ Boss 302 = 400+ Cobra/GT500 = will need a little breathing room, so could we end up with a GT550 or GT600?

"Pictured here is an artist's rendering of what Ford's next Pony may look like." I'm always suspicious of these things. I mean, it looks great, but there's nothing to indicate that the picture is anything more than some car geek's fantasy.
Love to see it, but there are no guarantees.

If you went through it all, they had the 2009 OT Pony cars too. And the current Mustang. Thought it was worth a read.

True, however all the rumors coming out of Dearborn suggest this rendering is going to be pretty close to what the next one will look like. So if it did come from a car geek, he/she is watching the news pretty close.

It's probably just me, but the Challenger just started looking even better.
I'm glad it's just an illustration, the "buck tooth" lower valance opening is pretty ugly.

Wow, with just a tire change? Amazing! That boy certainly knows how to launch a 'vette! The 60' time is ridiculous. :)
