5.8 / 351 Windsor Vehicles

I'm going to my local "U-Pick" auto yard looking for 351 windsor engines, can anyone tell me (or show me where to look for ) a listing of vehicles that have this engine in them.

Thank you

I don't know of how much help I am going to be, but the '69 and '70 models are supposed to have better heads. So it may be worth it to look for an engine with DOOE heads, or C60E heads(I think those are the good ones). If you can find a wrecked lightning that would be even better :) Erik D. The following are SAE Gross horsepower ratings. Gross HP figures are calculated without many of the accessories (such as alternator, water pump, etc.) attached to the engine. After the 1972 model year most manufacturers switched to SAE Net horsepower ratings.

1969 351W 4V 290HP@4800 385lbs/ft@3200

1970

351W 2V 250HP@4600 355lbs/ft@2600

Yet another $.02 worth from a proud owner of a 1970 Mach 1 351C featuring 340 HP @ 5,000 RPM (@ rear wheels) & 400 lbs/ft torque @
