68 mustang seat question

Aug 03, 2003 1 Replies

Got a 68 mustang that both front seat inner hinge pins have broken. Would it be better/easier to have the seat rewelded or replace with "new" seats? Are the seats from another year that would work?

Thanks in adavance for any responses. Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Show a man the internet and he won't bother you for weeks.

1967 and 1968 seats interchange, if you want to keep the correct look........Otherwise, any 1964.5 to 1970 Mustang seat will pretty much bolt right in............As for the hinge pins, why not contact your local Mustang supply house and get the service replacements...............
