I'm currently restoring a 70 Mach 1 mustang. I"m thinking about dropping the rear body 1" by raising the axle 1". I've got 320 coils in the front and lowered the upper a arms 1" I'm running 255-60 in the rear. It appears I should have enough clearance, I'm worried about tire rub in the rear. I've got all new suspension. Has anybody out there done this?
70 mustang question?

I did that to a '69 FB. Seemed to work pretty good. I don't remember the exact tire size but they were one size wider than stock, and the same diameter.
