94 Cobra no start

Check your ignition module it may be bad and they are notorious for this. cap and rotor.

The TFI is located under the air cleaner on the fenderwell.

Thanks, but as I said, I already tested the module, and it is good. Also, new cap and rotor (it was pretty bad...).

Then It's either the tfi or the pickup in the dist.

what happens when you disconnect the spout?

Would all you guys with dist engines read that about the tach, then look for it on startup so you'll remember it!!!!!

I would disconnect the SPOUT connector, crank the engine and verify an on going no spark condition. That should point you toward the Hall effect p/u or ignition control module. In your case, I'd suspect the Hall sensor inside the distributor where the PIP signal originates. The ECM may be storing codes such as 211/212 which could also indicate the Hall effect p/u at fault. In most cases, the distributor assy is more likely replaced vs press fitting in another sensor...

That's on pre-94's, the 94 and 95 do not have the tfi on the rotor anymore.

Besides the hall effect sensor, I would also check fuel pressure.

Ummm, the gear heads would never say it, but...how about taking it to the dealer. It is under warranty, is it not?
