Anyone using AFR heads?

I have AFR 165 (60cc) Pedestal mount with Crane Gold RR, CompCams FW XE264HR-14, Ported Typhoon Intake, 24# injectors, Accufab 70mm TB and Pro M Bullet MAF. The cam is the same one used in MMFF for their 306 cylinder head tests. I will be open tracking it next season when the car is completed.

I am using AFR 185s on my 331 stroker and am EXTREMELY happy with them.

In the November issue of 5.0 magazine, they did a test of 11 heads. The AFRs were top performers.

One word of warning.. I was unable to get correct rocker arm geometry and sufficient thread engagement of the locks with the supplied 3/8" rocker studs. Do yourself a favor and move up to longer 7/16" rockers and studs. These are stronger and will allow full engagement of the locks.
