Well, I enjoyed last night's show. Surprising some of the good deals that actually cropped up, like the white basic 64 Corvette that went for

45k, or the red 56 t-bird that wasn't concourse grade and sold for something in the 30s.

Also good to see that a clone can give you what you want for a whole lot less than a technically original car. I could live w/a clone Mopar product just fine, thanx.

What a great feeling to hear the commentators actually praise the early Cougar along with the Mustang! Nice to see that red 68!) one go for 30k, though I think that was a bit high to pay for something whose only boast is a sunroof. Just wish the hosts could get there years rights: 67s, as they called it, don't have lights on the fenders!

I'll certainly watch today.

I would like to see a little more trucks, though.

I'll be there Sunday morning, if anyone would like a special shot of any of the vehicles.

Big Al, who has posted here several times, has a friend with a tube chassis Camaro running a 514 Ford. Best runs have been in the 8's.

I'll post some on Monday night. Is there a particular binaries group I should post them to? The indoor shots of the Boss 429 Drag car came out blurry (new camera-must learn to read directions).

I posted a few pictures at:

I just can't believe what this stuff was selling for.$192,500 for a claimed 1 of 70 '68 Mopar racecar, but only $90,000 for Boydster 3-a brand new car from Coddington.

Part of it could be that people now see how obnoxious Coddington is from his TV show and are turned off by it. I'm so disgusted at the way he selfishly treats his crew like slaves, expecting them to give up their lives to work day and night to meet his ridiculous deadlines, I wouldn't buy a car of his if my life depended on it!

Having said that, though, I will admit that 57 chop top that sold over the weekend was one hellacious automobile, so the guy does have true talent.

I'd respect him a lot more if he got out of the office and did some work on those heaps himself instead of bitching at his crew and then going back upstairs and playing with his sketch pad

Can you double-check that name?

I cut and pasted it into my AGENT reader and it is a valid group.

I agree. Coddington constantly makes short deadlines and beats his guys up over it. I too hope those guys are paid well.

At least Paul Sr picks on his own son mostly. When we hung out with them in November in Tempe, AZ they were cool. Watching them brings me back to my days in NY.

Worse than that. He hires guys without proper screening then fires them for not be qualified. I stopped watching when they put the immature "Bluebear" guy in charge a project. Anyone with half a brain could see he wasn't ready for it, and IIRC they ended up firing him.

Publicity from the show probably got him into this problem:
