Best sounding exhaust system....04 GT?????

Question

The current exhaust system sounds nice (the one that came with the car) but I am looking for one that sounds deeper and louder. I have heard Flowmaster mentioned....is that the best sounding one?

Anyone know in the Philly/S Jersey area that can get it in for me?

Any suggestion welcome.

forums & check out some sound clips. I installed Full Boar turbo mufflers on my 98 GT & it sounds fantastic. It gives me a nice bassy rumbly growl when I step on it... but remains "civil" when I'm just commuting.

I'm from valley forge pa. I installed a bbk x-pipe and the american thunder(flowmater) catback system. It does droin alittle (lol) but it sounds great.The neighbors love me. It took alittle getting used to as it's alot louderthan before. Befroe you could barely hear it before i stepped on it, but nowit rumbles nicely and turns alot of heads.cobraboy 97 convert

Is your BBK x-pipe 2.5"? Is the stock exhaust 2.25"? I've heard of a couple people getting their exhaust shops to make 2.5" mid-pipes work with a 2.25" exhaust.. which is what I'm going to hafta do.

yeah it's 2.5. I wanted to go with the bbk h-pipe but they don't make themfor my year car anymore. I would consider borla next time with that warrentythey have. but I like the flowmaster sound on a mustang.cobraboy 97 convert
