Cool ?practical? ideas for the future

Things I'd love to see in future Mustangs:

(a) hybrid technology including that clever way some of the current hybrids harness breaking power to recharge battery. I mean hey with fuel prices this high, wouldn't it be great to save a few MPG?

(b) all-wheel-drive

(c) lighter/?stronger? materials used to decrease overall weight of the Mustang to increase performance and MPG and offset the extra weight and HP loss from all-wheel-drive.

Yeah I want it all in one car and I can't afford a convertible Audi Quattro V8 yet!

No thanks. If you want a Prius, buy a Prius.

What? If you want a WRX, buy a WRX. Leave the Mustang as is, a RWD 2+2. Just go buy some AWD coupe and put Mustang badges on it if you want an AWD Mustang.

I will agree with you on this one, lighter & stronger materials. The Mustang is becoming a PIG. The 400 horses under the hood of my Cobra has to move

3650 lbs!!! Imagine what 400 horses could do with 3400 or even 3200 lbs!!!

If the Mustang was built like an Audi Quattro V8 you wouldn't be able to afford it either.

I'll see you the list below and raise ya: SOFT, quality leather that would last decades without cracking and getting nappy. Quality vinyl for the convertible top that didn't need replacing every 4-5 years
