got a 95 gt, I installed a new battery just a month ago, and now the car dosen't start up anymore because something is draining the battery (I don't know what!) I can start my car up fine if I boost it from my dads car, what could be the prob? or any tips?
Any modifications to the car? (anything at all) What was the last thing you did to the car? Any dash lights illuminated?

you have any kind of modified stereo in it? It's common for these butt-kickin 500 watt stereos to leech power from mediocre wiring
Charging system? Why did you replace the battery to begin with?

I would have checked the alternator before I changed the battery, if your alternator is not working or it isnt working correctly then your car will not keep a charge on your battery. Sure your car will run, but it will be feeding off the battery untill it is dead, or so low on voltage that it will not be able to start the car. Qick test, even though it is not the correct way to test the alternator, it will work, always has for me. 1st, start the car , jump it again if you have to.
2nd while the car is running disconnect the battery, pull the positive battery terminal off . If the car stays running then chances are the alternator is ok. The right way to test the alternator would be to drive it to an auto parts store like Pepboys or Autozone and let then test the charging system. Takes only a few minutes, they have a portable tester that they can roll out to your car.Let us all know !
