Once upon a time car makers had two and four door cars on the same platform.
I'm certainly still whining about it.

Many moons ago, in a land far far away, an outfit called J C Whitney carried a fiberglass top to replace the back hatch on a 'vette, .....which made it look more like an El Camino with a shell :0)
And *some* of them ( 67-71 Thunderbird) are more collectible that the 2 door counterpart.
