According to Hagerty, at least, the Boss 302, specifically the Laguna Seca model, is destined to be a collector car in the coming years. The classic car insurance company recently released their annual =93Hagerty Hot List=94 predicting what current cars under $100,000 will be in high demand in the future, and the race-ready Mustang made it onto the list. =93This year=92s Hot List includes cars that are sure to develop a cult-like following because their characteristics resonate with driving enthusiasts,=94 says McKeel Hagerty, CEO of Hagerty Insurance. Hagerty praised the Boss 302 for its versatility, saying the car =93is a beast on the race track, yet tame enough to drive on the street=96 and all for less than $50,000.=94

So what other cars made it onto the list? The Mustang=92s rival Camaro ZL-1 was named, as well as the Porsche 911, Dodge Charger SRT8, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, Volkswagen Golf R, Buick Regal GS, Fiat 500 Abarth, Nissan GT-R Black Edition and Audi TT RS.
