IN Pa:

You get a truck license plate, no if's and or buts about it. It is classified by the FMVA as a light truck.

In some states when it has a cap, it can be registered as a car.

Try less than questionable!

Parasite, Amoeba, colon cheese dung beetle!

Don't gnash your teeth too much, it will make then sensitive to temperature, and all that CUM you suck will hurt you. I'm related to a dentist and he told me that gnashing your teeth can cause temperature sensitivity.

Also, how can a person be deaf to not understand the written word? Wouldn't that be more attributed to blindness?

I just questioned your less than proper use of the saying f*ck up. Because in reality, you are a living f*ck up. More like a criminal waiting to commit his next crime and return to prison.

I don't care what the FMVA calls it. An Elky is a car with a bed instead of a back seat and a trunk.

Based on that logic, all the minivans aren't even van's. They're all really Intrepid's, Taurus's, Accord's, and Camry's, etc. And the H2 POS is just a Tahoe.

Besides, he's just adding to the branches that this thread's taking.

Are "premium tips" anything like stainless tips on the Fox body LX exhaust?

And hey, while we're on the topic of exhaust, my friend has an '01 GT with a Magnaflow stainless cat back on it. Sounds good... a little cackle-ish, but I kinda like that. Says it drones a bit in the familiar Flowmaster 2200 RPM range though... was hoping that wouldn't be an issue. I was considering exhaust for my Cobra at some point.

And to add an on-topic section for AACF... I test drove a WS-6 convertible the other day. Nice car, but I can't see why they put an automatic in those things. Just slows 'em way down. I think the car was a '99. I drove an '01 SS and it just seemed to have much more pick-up.

They would be the stainless tips dipped in chrome.

Doesn't the X-pipe take care of at least some of the drone?

The reason they put automatics in the WS-6 is so pretty girlies who don't know how to drive sticks can tool around in them. Nothing wrong with that.

I traded SushiJet straight across for the Comet 404 (which has half of its 289) and a complete running 302. It was then sold to some guy in his 50's who like boogering around with Hondas.

The '65 Galaxie 500 recently added to the list is an aborted project by someone who was looking to build a healthy restomod. On board is a

460 SVO engine with ported heads and a host of trick parts including 10" converter and aftermarket C6 trans. That will be swapped into one of the other cars for weekend bracket duty.

I'll sell some. Need the money for my move back to the east coast.

Extra butter? Salt?

OIC. Didn't know anything 'bout that. I'll stick with plain stainless, thanks. Not much a fan of chrome, never really was.

I think he kept the stock H-pipe on it. Sounded pretty good though. I haven't taken it for a ride. I just can't imagine it being worse than the

2200 RPM Flowmaster drone though...

Nothing wrong with that at all, but a pretty girl driving a WS-6 with a six-speed is even better. ;-)

How's the Dakota running? About ready to trade it in for the SRT-10? Saw the commercial for it this evening. My girl said "I'll take one in black, please." Nice truck.

Actually, I was kidding. Every time I leave the winky off someone takes me seriously... ;)

I'm so used to mine I don't notice it anymore. The sound is just the sound.

Hey now!

The Dak's running great. Needs a tune-up (it'll be the first one @

30k miles), which I'm going to do next Monday. But it's funny you should mention the SRT-10. I took the Dak in to the dealer for a tranny fluid change and wandered up to the showroom for a few minutes. First thing I saw on the floor was a red SRT-10. Stickered for over $45k, didn't bother to ask what they _really_ wanted. Gorgeous truck, though. Coolest thing is the Viper push button starter. They also had a bunch of Magnums too. Nice.

Good joke though. Ya never can tell with kids today though. Some people have exhaust tips the size of CDs and think it helps *and* looks good. Oh well.

I had Flows on a couple different cars with a Mac 2-cat H-pipe on each. It droned a bit, but I didn't care too much. Every now and then it would bother me. That same exhaust with an offroad H-pipe was a little more wicked though.

An ex of mine has one.... that titanium color with T-tops and a six speed... teases me about my Cobra being slow...

Oddly enough, I like the Magnum. I don't know why... it's a wagon... but I like it. The Hemi doesn't hurt either, I'm sure. I've been looking at new Stratuses (Stratii?) for a potential daily driver. Have you heard anything about these cars? I'd rather have a 5-speed, but don't know if I want to pay the money for an R/T (which if I remember right is the only way you can get a 5-speed). I can get a new GT 5-speed Mustang for that price.... but then there's the conflict of interest with having two V8 5-speed Mustangs that are about the same performance.

$45k for an SRT-10 doesn't seem all that outlandish I guess in the arena that today's new car market has taken. Viper engine in a performance tuned truck for $45k sounds just about right... if you can get one for that much.

Saw a nice older 300ZX today with dual coffee cans. What a sin!

I wish. My LX has a completely stock exhaust (even the original o2 sensors) except for the Flows. The car's pushing 143k; I put the Flows on around 70k or so.

Did you ever run her? That might be an interesting match if she's a good driver.

Saw one on the road coming home tonight. Real nice looking. The roofline slopes downward towards the rear, so the whole car almost looks chopped. The back gate is hinged about two feet into the roof so that there's tons of access when it's lifted. That thing with a Hemi must be neat.

The Stratus R/T is FWD with a 200-hp V6 mated to a 5-speed. Not too shabby, but I'm not fond of front-drivers. Base for the R/T is around $23.3 or so; you can jack it way up with options. You can also get a

5-speed with the SXT which will save you a few $$, but the SXT is sprung a bit softer than the R/T. If you don't mind FWD, the Stratus is a decent car. DC's selling them now as "sports cars".

When all is said and done, I think the Stratus will be a few $$ less than the Mustang, but it depends on the options.

Guess you're right, but there's a lot you can do with $45k...
