Kate, please don't block me!! You're gonna make me cry now :( A friend of mine called me tonight and told me he is selling his '00 GT with a supercharger for 8000. It's been wrecked though so thats a no go. I didn't say I was definitely buying a GM, just a possibility right now. Erik D. '94 white lightning

LOL!! Yeah I figured. As far as the lx hatch for 7,000, nah. I think thats a little overpriced honestly. The cobra I was going to buy was only 7,000 and it oonly had 65,xxx on it. Too bad it got stolen cause thats what I was about to buy. Since that didn't work out I figured I'd get something a little newer and more reliable. I want something fast too, and something I don't have to dump a bunch of money into to make fast. I was thinking LS1 car cause I thought I could find one kind of quick, but there are none. I test drove one yesterday and I really liked it, but it was a hard top and I won't settle for anything less than T-tops. If I could find a really nice '96-'99 cobra vert I would definitely be interested, so my options are still open until I sign some papers on something. I just don't want to settle for something unless its what I really really want, and I don't really want another lx since I already had 2. Thanks! Erik D. '94 white lightning
Please imagine me rolling my eyes as I shudder at how you have abandoned all things California.
Well.. If I run across anything, I'll let you know. I do understand about not wanting another one just like the last one or two that you have had. It gets to be SOSDD after awhile.
Whatever you pick, I hope you find something that really makes your heart go pitter patter :)

Yeah, but you really won't know how good a job you did until you see how they raise theirs....

Bullshit.
You have a bad attitude, you should have stuck with Generic Motors.
If you can't fix it right the first time, find someone who can.
That's all I've done to my Ford, except the upgrades I wanted to do.
ohhhh I didn't have to add a quart
Bullshit.
Bullshit. I'll run your fuggin cram air right now and treat it just like I did that Z06 that thought he was a bad boy....
It's pretty bad that you don't know the difference between the two engines, ie: compression ratio. The Cobra is also a lot more pawerful than what the ratings say they are. There is also still room for more power in them. Go snag a few facts.
Bullshit. You're a troll.
C'mon, read between the lines. He means that he removed the rev limiter and missed those second gear shifts on numerous occations and it still ran.... =p

What about a '96 6-spd Vette? I mean, the Mustang and the Camaro don't really have a back seat, either, so why not? The 6-spds all came with the 330 hp LT-4, aka the Gen II SBC; not all that different than the tried and true Gen I. I just checked Autotrader.com and they're out there by the dozens for mid to high teens; low 20's if you want one with sub-30K mileage. This car should have some collector value, too, down the road, as the last year of the C-4 and a one year only motor, that 330 hp LT-4. If you want guaranteed collector value, get the Gran Sport version, also available in the low 20's (and up, WAY up).
