Mach1 body pieces, fit and finish issue

The Mach 1 hood is great, but I noticed something while browsing at the local dealers -

Before you drive off in your new Mach1, check the plastic(Vinyl?) pieces that make up both the rear pillar cover(area that causes your blind spot) and the piece above the door windows (did you even know they are plastic?). These pieces are shaped differently from the same parts found on the other models, less "shoulder" and more of a curve as the piece meets the lower body metal. Anyway, one in four Mach1s that I looked at had this piece way out of tolerance with the body - where the pillar cover meets the body near the rear quarter/trunk area. The fit and finish isn't as good as in the GT/SVT, etc. You might have the body shop tweak it before delivery, or even select another car that doesn't have such a poor tolerance. I have heard the Mach 1 is manufactured at a diff location... check all the lines, panels, and operating parts, IMHO
