Mazda anyone?

I know this is a Ford group, but does anyone in here own a Mazda (626

4-cyl) with a low idle problem? It goes dead at stop signs, etc. I am seeking an affordable solution to this problem. The mechanic who checked it simply cleaned out some carbon buildup, but there has to be a more reliable fix.

I had a stumbling in my wife's 4 cyl Contour. I cleaned the MAF sensor with alcohol. Then, the next day is was stalling at lights, probably due to the cleaning of the MAF sensor and all the goofy data the computer was working with. I pulled the battery cable for about 30 minutes to let the computer reset, and all problems were fixed. No more stumbling and no more stalling. Strange, but it's worth a try. And it's cheap, or actually free.

I can solve this problem for you in three very simple steps:

1) Sell your 626 2) Buy any variety of Mustang 3) Ask questions about the vehicle in step 2 in the Mustang newsgroup

Hope this helps
