Shelby Canyon Carver?
Was there a Mustang made by Shelby that even somewhat slightly resembles that name? I *googled* it, but came up with NIL. Supposedly 2500 made? Only

I've never heard of it.
2500 is a HUGE number for Shelby production. No Way would only 2or 3 be left.Sounds like somebody found this in a crack pipe.

Canyon carver is a generic name for anything that handles. Maybe someone was describing an R-code or sumpin'. Or maybe they were smoking crack.

You know what it sounds like to me is a Mondegreen for "KR." That is, someone hearing the term "GT500KR" thought he heard "Canyon Carver." D'ya think?

That'd be a stretch, but believable if the person hearing it was nearly deaf and there was a jet flying overhead. :)
Or maybe he was smoking crack.
