New on the group! 67 hardtop with engine burnt

Hi! I live in Toulouse in the South West of France and bought a 67 hardtop mustang a year ago for complete restoration. The poor car had a fire on the engine that went also behind the dash.

The car when I found it:

Welcome to the group. You and Kevin (elmo) live in the same city in France. You should give him a ping! StuK

I hope you got it cheap. Fire damage can be very difficult to repair. That much heat tends to distort body panels. You're a braver man thatn I.

Love the lines on the car - I have a 67 convertable, but bob is right - fire damage is a major problem - you have to replace SO MUCH.

Aloha,

Loved the "before" pic, tho - such a beautiful country. I was in France last May with my girlfriend. I think we were the only Americans there - we had the time of our lives.

Aloha from Honolulu,

Marc
