I missed it but one thing tha always bothers me, if you're rebuilding a muscle car, why stick those stupid "bling bling" rims on the thing? It makes it look cheap. They did this to both the '68 442 Cutlass and a '70 Monte Carlo.
Haven't seen that one. But I would like to submit my maverick with one conditon, the engine remain a straight 6 ford. (preferably that turbo one from austrailia ;) ) Well two conditions, I keep all the original parts...
The Bling Bling is the "Thing thing" these days. That and... the company prolly donates them, it gets their newest, altest, greatest kid candy on the TV.

I'm with you on that one. They should leave that crap to the Pimp My Ride team. I'd rather keep my Cragars thank you very much

Also, on this particular project, the wheels looked GREAT and the car had a magnificent stance.

Kate I had to get you back for warranty ;)
But why would they install seemingly OEM replacement lower control arms? I'm not sure if I heard correctly, but I thought I heard the term "boxed" used when they were talking about the control arms. _If_ they were boxed then I guess that's ok, but if it were my car I'd rather see some heavy duty tubular lower control arms like Total Control's or Global West's. That said, they could overhaul my '64.5 _any_ day!!

If you check out their website they have a complete grocery list of items that were installed on that car. Total Control Products has some nice suspension products as well. I have known the Maiers since about 1984, when it comes to suspension and fiberglass they know their stuff.

I agree. He put a six-point in my kids' '65 fb. Easy access to the back seat, let alone the front; the fold-down clears the diagonals by a quarter inch; and the way he shot the holes into the trunk, I still can't believe the precision. Paul Teutel Jr. stick to your spider webs and daggers and doodads and leave the real fabricatin' to the grownups.

I was going to post something similiar, the wheels looked fine to me, like over grown torque trusts or something...
