Paint code for 69?

Question

Hello,I have a 69 R code mach1 & was wondering if anyone can tell me whatcolor D5 is? The door tag numbers are 63C_D5_3AA_23D_61_W_6I know D is acapulco blue, but have no clue what D5 means. It's supposedto be the original paint which is pastel grey btw...so I dunno. Any helpwould be appreciated. Thank you.Ron

D is Pastel Gray in '69. is possible the 5 may be for the blackout on the hood.  StuK

Thank you all for the help & great links, I appreciate it! The book I have is obviously wrong about the paint code. I've had the car for 15 or so years & have not really been keeping up with the literature or current muscle car values. Anyway, here's a few pictures:

Just to add, there were 1083 Mach1s produced in 1969 with that paint and trim combination. With your engine/trans/rear, that figure would be MUCH lower. A Marti report would be in order here. Nice car...
