Nicknamed the "Extreme," the 2008 S302E combines
302-cubic-inch engine augmented by a Saleen twin-screw intercoole supercharger to deliver a whopping 620 horsepower and 600 pound-fee of torque. The engine is mated to a short-throw six-speed manua transmission. Saleen says the Extreme sprints from zero to 60 mph i less than 4 seconds

Other details on the 2008 S302E include standard 20-inch aluminu
alloy wheels, Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires, a Saleen Racecraf suspension and a second-generation Watts Link system
The vehicle is one of the first fruits of the new team at Saleen
which includes Chris Theodore, the father of the Ford GT, who no serves as Saleen's vice chairman and chief technical officer
