What do you have your timing set at? Is it rather close to the edge to begin with?

I never changed the timing. I bought it used... and it's not chipped & has no timing adjuster.. reset the comp a couple times in the past by disconnecting neg. battery cable. Whatever the timing is from the factory!

Argghhhh! I had a nice little Probe that had never given me a bit of fuel problems. I got ONE tank of gas at a neighborhood Citgo... by the end of the tank, the catalytic converter was rattling. Soon the thing was clogging the outlet of the cat can and I had to take it (cat) off and break it all up.

I think their quality control - if any at all- is lousy.

Never buy gas at a low volume station esp those with low volume - for the area- brands.
