do I REALLY have to lift the engine to get this off? What ahve I gotten myself into here? What looked like a simple job has turned into a nightmare.
You have to either lift the motor or drop the K member to gain enough clearance to replace the pan. I do these by supporting the motor with a brace over the motor onto the strut towers and dropping the entire K member which gives you plenty of access. Definately not an easy job
