stupidity caused me grief... spark plug issue

Ok... passenger side..closest to firewall (and the hardest dang one to reach). After several minutes of trying to get the boot out I finally managed to do so. Then came the challenge of getting a socket in there... and the spark plug before it (2nd closest to firewall, passenger side) I stuck the socket in there & then attached an extension to it.. and then another extension.. then hooked up a ratchet.. and got it out. I figured I could do the same thing with thi sone..... boy was I wrong. Now... I'm not sure what it's called... but it's a black thing that apparently connects at

3 points and "covers" sort of (it's above.. part of it at least) the plug hole itself (enough room is left to pull the boot loose though..). I stuck the socket in there... then an extension.. and realized "uh oh... i can't fit a ratchet there......".. so I've been trying to remove that black thin metal piece.. but I can't get a damn socket to fit on the left side.. I got the right side one off... the last one is closest to the firewall and is angled a little odd. Anybody know what i'm talking about & how to get it off? Once you're done laughing at my stupidity please post a reply that'll help me out.. like a socket size if you know which one i'm referring to. 10mm almost fits... 11 almost fits.. and the bolt is a tiny bit stripped.. any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Ok.. got the 2nd bolt off (actually wasn't a bolt.. was a nut) ... left side. Now the last f*cking thing is the bolt/nut (13mm fits perfectly) closest to the firewall & angled sliiiightly funny (downward). I guess I'm going to need a bigass 13mm wrench to just muscle it off. I tried with my small 13mm wrench & LORD that was a joke... only thing accomplished there was cutting up my hands even more! Looks like I found an excuse to buy a bigger toolset (shup.. i don't like my current one.. i lost a lot of stuff by loaning it to friends).

How about this? Remove the boot from a plug on coil plug, the spring is stuck to the top of the plug causing it to strech out of shape when it finally comes off.
