how hard would it be to swap a 5.0 into a 4 cly mustang.

the 4 cyl? is a diff car all together. and what is your prob i am using this fourm to get a better understanding of the structural intergrity of the car i was looking at dropping at the most 400hp at crank into the stang but as seeing how its been said that there weaker then i orig thought i felt maybe i should look elsewere with people like you i guess ill go back to a chevy a t-top car that with frame ties can handle 400 whp

i see your title backyard mechanic i feel bad that you can only work in the trees behind your house. see you later i got to go to work at the shop(we real tech belong)

PLUS USE chrome-moly ladders to the K-Member... keep an eye on the floor pans to rockers; WHEN they separate, I'll give you $300 for it minus drivetrain.

As long as the top panels fasten without being kludged or binding and the doors fit..

thanks for your help js. i am planning on keeping it numbers matching but the motor is getting tired reason i asked is i am gona rebuild the stock 5.0l and well was wondering what i could do and not hurt the car yea shes rare. and yes i said 89 wich is incorrect, but in seriuos i need a little more power then the stock motor so i don't get embaresed by imports that can easily out run a stock

5.0 gota keep this cars image better then a car thats badge as strong yet runs weak, i am passing on the 4 cyl and goin straight out at this t-top i love my t-tops just hope i don't get hit in this one like my last car that i was in the proccess of building.
