Thunder Road

Anyone seen this movie on the tube lately? What station carried it? I submitted a "Suggest a movie" on TCM, but I don't know if they have access to it. I haven't seen it in years, many years! Here's the best link I found on it when googling:

They ever have lyrics and audio of the Ballad of Thunder Road, and it's on a University of Vienna server. Go figure!

Here is the main page from IMDB:

Excellent links Jim. Thanks! I added IMDB to my favorites.

$12 plus S&H is awful tempting. I think I'll stop by our local rental places and the library to see if they have it first while I'm on vacation the next two weeks.

NetFlix has it in stock:

have a two week free trial if you don't want to pay to rent it or your library doesn't have it. :) If you do want to own a copy for yourself, DeepDiscountDVD usually has the best prices around, including free shipping:

I must throw in my .02 cents about Netflix... I LOVE THEM. So far, each movie has arrived 2 days after shipped. Like, shipped on Monday.. arrives Wednesday (although they keep telling me it'll be here Thursday!). You can have up to 500 movies in queue & they keep on shipping as soon as you return the old movies.. and you can tell they are doing it as fast as they can too. I like them quite a bit.. been using them for about 2-2.5 weeks now.. already viewed 6 movies & I have 3 more on the way. $19.80 per month including tax. Already that would only be $2.20 per rental. I'm gonna squeeze in another 3 movies at least though before this month is up... so that'll make it $1.65 per rental & I never hafta go past the mailbox. It's

*nice*.

You gotta have an awful lot of time to waste watching movies to get the best of that deal.

Actually I have very little time lol... I work a lot, but it helps to have movies at my disposal for breaks (and they don't come as often as you'd think).
