Can someone explain the vacuum hose routing diagram for a 1970 Mustang with a 351C 4V that uses a Dual Diaphragm Distributor?

Carb vacuum to the ported vacuum switch top port. Middle port to outer distributor connection. Bottom port to inner distributor connector. HTH StuK
