1996 Primera Starting problem

My 1996 1.6 multipoint fuel injected primera has an intermittent cold starting problem.I can turn it over until the battery goes flat but still wont start.However it will roll start but runs quite badly for 10-15 minutes.If I roll start it after 2 turns of the key it then runs fine, I presume its because there's not too much petrol after being injected into the engine.I took it to the main dealer and they checked it finding nothing wrong of course I had roll started it that morning.



Anyone there who could help me ?

I had something like this every month or two on my 2.0 Primera when I used a non-Nissan petrol filter. No problems in 3 years since switching to Nissan filters which seem to be very free-flowing, you can really tell the difference if you blow through a Nissan one compared to a non-Nissan one. I've mentioned this to other Primera owners who have no problems with non-Nissan filters, but it probably depends on your pump pressure whether you get a problem or not with non-Nissan filters. Anyway, I'll never use anything but Nissan petrol filters.
