2005 Maxima Alternator/PCM Issue

I had my alternator replaced a few days ago as it was bad(brake and battery light flashing) and now the ac compressor will not turn on. Of course the shop is not taking any responsibility for this. They have done a pressure test and looks good. They have tried to troubleshoot via electrical diag tests and have found nothing so they are leaning toward the PCM being bad. Does this sound correct as I am having no other issues with the car except the AC.

Thanks

should be no connection,,pardon the pun, between the two.

check that they didnt break loose the wire to the AC compressor.

Here's a long shot. Check the cigarette lighter fuse. Replace if bad/blown. It's what caused my AC not to work in my 97 Nissan PU. In my truck, the cig lighter and the AC control is on the same circuit and controlled by the lighter fuse.
