I need to replace the Cylinder Head Temp Sensor on an 1987 Maxima. I check the resistance and it measured open circuit. The service manual states to do this with timing belt is remove. Can this be done by just removing the accessory belt brackets, stud and the timing belt cover without removing the timing belt? It looks like there might be enough room.
