I have a '97 2.4 liter motor in my pickup. I have a check engine light that comes on. I OBDII'd it and got a P0100 (mass air flow problem). This always appears in sets of 2 on the code scanner. When the engine light is on occasionally the motor won't go over 2500 RPM's (I was told this is a "safe mode"). The safe mode corrects itself after about 10 minutes of driving but the light stays on. My question is does anyone know where I can get a mass air sensor? The dealer sells only the throttle body at $450.00. No one else seems to sell just the sensor. Could this be a wiring problem and where do I start to trouble shoot this? Any and all help is appreciated. The truck has been an excellent truck but this stumps me
