Could you port and polish nissans microfinished engines?

i have a 1985 nissan 300zx and wondering if i could port and polish the engine? how much would that cost and how much HP,and torque would i gain??????? thanks

-Several- thousand dollars.

If that was all you did, maybe 20HP at best. If you want more power, sell your car and buy a turbo version.

Or look into the mods. There are plenty of companies that sell parts, web groups, and clubs for the Z. P&P is one of the last things that gets done by most people.
