Hi all, I recently picked up a 2000 Xterra (SE) and I want to put a set of tires/rims on it that are a bit more robust. I know that my X uses a 6, 5.5 pattern. I've heard the term "offset" with certain rim manufacturers, and I'm not sure what this measurement is referring to. Any help would be much appreciated.
also, any advice/prior experience with certain wheel manufacturers?

Ok, disregard defining offset. Is there a recommended offset range for Nissan trucks?
It depends on your wheel width.
Plug in your current width and offset, play around with the values for the new wheel fields. Make sure you'll clear the suspension on the inside, and stay inside the wheel wells on the outside.
What, exactly, is wrong with your existing wheels?
Thanks for the link, looks to be pretty handy. Nothing is really wrong with the current set of wheels, they are just a bit small for the overall aesthetic appeal of the truck. They are 235/15's and I would much like to pick up a set that I see on most of the Xterra's out there.
