I had this problem and replaced fuel filter and oxy sensor. Was about to replace spark plugs, but when I examined them the looked like new. So, when the car quit running I had it towed into a shop. They replaced the spark plugs and it has just run better and better. It seemed like it had carboned the cylinder heads to a point it was firing at wrong time and just quit. These take 8 plugs. Replace them all.
