1996 I30 Keyless entry stop working

My 96 I30's keyless entry had worked flawlessly until a few days ago. None of its buttons has any function. I thought the battery was gone and replaced it with a new battery. Still the same thing. I had made sure the battery is put there correctly. Could it be the receiver's problem, or something else? Maybe the code was accidently cleaned? I'd like to re-program the keyless entry before trying something else. Does anyone know how to reprogram it?

Thanks for your help.

'96 I30s came with two remotes. Does the other one still work (or did it until you started reprogramming)? If none of them work, I would start looking for blown fuses and/or breakers.

I bought the car used and only got one remote. Today, I looked at a small plastic door under dashboard (the one that can easily come off when car bumps:- By the way, does anyone know how to keep the door stay here?). On the insde of the door, looks like a diagram of fuses. But I could not find anything related to alarm system or keyless entry.

Thanks for your help!
