a**holes abound- traffic woes

Had a fender bender with my 99 SE-L 2 days ago. Dummy in front of me signals a left and gets in the turn lane. As I pull up beside he changes his mind and swerves into my lane at 45 violently enough for me to note he rocked it on the suspension.

Is there a way to put a REALLY loud horn on my max? The tinny sounding horn just does not get enough respect here in Atlanta, the home of stupid overagressive drivers.

Try a set of air horns which are powered by a small compressor. They are easy to fit. These horns are popular in Europe but you don't hear then at all in the US.

It seems the culture in the US is not to blow your horn. Contrast that with Italy where they blow their horns almost incessantly. When they are angry, when they are happy, when they want to attract attention, and for fun. Many horns play elaborate tunes, Colonel Bogey (a UK favorite).

The horn is simply connected by a pair of wires. Buy a bigger electric horn (I think many retailers sell them) and put in bigger wires and you're all set.

=== Maybe a few well placed shots from a .45acp might get their attention.
