Maxima SE 03 Do I need shocks & how much should they cost

Hi,



50k miles. How do I know if I need shocks. The car bouns alot even at
5mph on speedbumps. I also occasionally bottom the front end out on steep driveways. How long should the orignal shocks last? How much for new ones? what kind? thanks
