Hi i have a 206 gti.
I went to start my car, but I had accidetly left it in gear. After that, it would not start...the engine kept on turning, but would not start. The only way i got it going again was to clutch start it... Is this a common problem?

This is very strange,never heard of this before, dos it start now with out turning the key while in gear?the thing i would check is all the petrol pipes for leaks,spark plug leads,its a thing that i dont think a lot of us on here have heard off.this problem.
Yeah, now start no problem at all....Maybe fuel computer putting a fuel map on that the car can not start with?
