Hi/Salut Christian,

Where Du you live, that you still have to pay in Francs and not in Euros?

First let me give you a link to a german pdf which has much information about the FAP the 607 and the costs involved (its an older document so it features for that another "dead" currency: Deutschmarks).

formatting link
(you might have to reconstruct this link to one line)

Regardless of the Fact that the Filter is changed you should pay the price of an ordinary "Big" Inspection, like you probably did on 40000 kms. Another think is the second... exchange at 160,000 and 240,000 and so on then you will have to pay the price you stated.

Btw. the Filter is not exactly/always replaced with a new filter but with a cleaned one.

Not only the Filter is changed Also the additive Eolys is refilled.

Both is essential for your car to function. Depending on your driving i would expect that you won't come further than 120,000 without cleaning the filter or/and refilling eolys.

How the filter is cleaned: According to the pdf above this is done in a Company called "Faurecia" they "regenerate" the Filter with hot-air and then clean it with high-pressure water.

Salut
