Really ? I thought that, as long as the engine revs (for example, off but in drive while you're moving), you kept steering (as on 405s, with their mechanical power steering pump).

205 Diesel & turbo-Diesel :Idle stepper motor siezed causing a crash as steering was inoperable.
I read this crap then went for a drive and turned off the engine I managed to steer my car. I think you need to learn how to drive.
