1988 Grand Prix Hesitation Issue

I have a 1988 Grand Prix 2.8 liter v6 with a serious hesitation issue. It exhibits serious bogging, or stumbling whenever you crack the throttle open under load. Lets say the vehicle is in drive, and you are sitting at a traffic light. As soon as you step on the gas, it either stumbles or stalls. However, if you VERY gently open the throttle, it will go fine. Sometimes, I can get away with maintaining a 1000 RPM brake rev before the light turns green... this way the engine wont stop in the middle of the road when I start accelerating. There are no codes, the fuel pressure is fine and the spark is solid. Keep in mind, it runs fine except when you start out. I even confirmed proper EGR, MAF and MAP operation. The PROM has not been updated, but I dont think this is a likely cause. I am considering an intake manifold leak. If anyone has had a similar problem... please let me know before I waste my time changing gaskets that arent leaking.
