Hello,

I have a 1991 grandprix with a 3.1 liter V6 engine. When I start the engine it runs fine until it gets warn then it begins to run rough and eventually dies; then it wont start up until the engine cools down. So far I have replaced the coil pack, looked at the ECM, cleaned the EGR valve, replaced the IAC, changed the plug wires. I have also had problems with the electric fans not coming on so I have also replaced the temperature sending unit. Still have problems need help please

please reply snipped-for-privacy@earthlink.net

I rather reply in groups, to keep my email safe. :)

Anyway, how good a condition is your radiator in? Did you also check/replace the thermostat? Antifreeze in good condition or need a little bit more added?

Sounds like the engine might be running too hot.
