Started noticing that it would not shift into passing gear at cruising speed. Eventually lost power completely under normal driving conditions. Took it to our GM Dealer they said faulty fuel pump. Pressure was 47lbs. Further diagnotic tests at home, (I am ASE certified) showed a clogged cat. Took it to a different GM dealership with my diagnosis, and this dealership said there is a 10yr. 120K warranty for CC. The CC was replaced and the car runs great. It never hurts to run further tests. First dealer wanted to put in new fuel pump because they didn't want to go the extra mile. Are we glad we brought it home and checked into it further. Saved us a whole lot of bucks.
