2004 Bonneville SLE

Jan 22, 2005 2 Replies

I just bought a used 2004 Bonneville SLE. All the paper work I received with it, including the complete vehicle build says it's a 2004, yet the body style looks like a 2003. The model number on the vehicle build says it's a 2HY69, which matches everything I could find on the Internet for a 2004, yet the body style has me wondering. The build date of the car was 11/17/2003, which seems to indicate it is a 2004.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why the body style looks like a 2003?

Thanks.

The SLE bodystyle did not change from the 2000/2001 redesign until MY

2005, when it got the cleaner look of the 2004-2005 Bonnie GXP (no more cladding). With an 11/17/2003 build date, your car is most certainly a 2004.

good thing you didn't buy a 2004 Buick Park Avenue, that still looks like a 1997.
