'70 TA help?

Hello all,

I'm just beginning to restore a 1970 TA that I recently purchased.

One of the previous owners replaced the door panels. But they didn't install water shields and they didn't use the correct fasteners (they used 4 screws and a lot of glue), so the panels are now terribly warped. And I'm not even sure they used the correct panels. I've looked through various parts catalogs and at photos of other 70 TAs, but it's not clear which door panels are indeed correct for a 70 TA with custom interior. Mine have an upper and a lower panel, the lower being plastic with an armrest and two molded pockets...no pull strap on the top panel. Are these correct? I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Also, my headliner, sunvisors and domelight are gone (as in not present), so any good interior photos or links thereof would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to see the interior of a correct car so I can do mine right.

Please respond to the group or via email (remove the obvious part from my address)

TIA

I'd head over to the Performance Years online forums at:

You'd get much more help there.

Thanks all for the replies. For those who weren't aware there's also a good article in High Performance Pontiac about 70-73 TA interiors.
