I do not usually use. Could this cause my car to stall sometimes at a traffic light?

Letting your car run low on gas could be the cause as well. Running your car low or out of gas damages the fuel pump as the gas acts as a lubricant and coolant for the fuel pump. If you make it a habbit of putting off gassing up till you're running on fumes your asking for a failure.

I agree too. Take the car in and have them do a fuel pump pressure test. Heck, you could do it yourself if you had the proper gauge to do it with. The only thing they do is hook a gauge up to you fuel injector rail, or if it's a carb, inline with the fuel line. Then they turn the power on the car and let the fuel pump turn. Voila, if the pressure is not up to snuff, either 2 things might have happened. Pump got ruined due to lack off fuel, or the fuel pump picked up garbage from the bottom of your tank and filled your fuel filter with junk. Try changing you fuel filter first and see what happens.
