I just bought my 97 Sunfire its a 5 speed and when I put it in 1sh gear I really have to gun the engine to make it go then I have to do the same thing in 2nd gear but once it is going fast, like when I get on the freeway it seems to be fine, I don't know anything at all about cars, but from what I've read on this site I'm thinking it could be the fuel filter, but if anyone has any advice I'd love to read it, thanks, Jen
